Language Laptop Training
Posted on May 16, 2005
It is that time of year again, when professors at UVM take a step further towards the 21st century. This time around, the foreign language department has purchased 11 12" Apple Powerbooks and outfitted them all with iWork, Office (?), Photoshop and a couple other goodies. They are now at the Center for Teaching and Learning getting crash course type instruction in each of the programs (and I mean crash!!). I believe they will be doing iMovie, MOVEABLETYPE, etc etc as well - wish I were a faculty member!
I look forward to working for the rest of the week as support for this program, since the incorporation of technology in the classroom is, I feel, key to the success of the modern classroom!

Yeah, you didn't have to but I think it is fixed now. I had opened unregistered users, which makes no sense to do if you also require an email address etc since: God (god@heaven.net) even works. Thanks for the heads up Steve and keep me posted if you find anything else!
